ECO-FRIENDLY HYBRID CARS AND ITS PROSPECTS
Hybrid Cars are the new age solution for those who are passionate about luxury cars which will live up to the environmental challenge. These cars combine an internal combustion engine and one or more electric motors. The hybrid cars masters at greater fuel economy and lower emissions than conventional internal combustion engine vehicles resulting in fewer emissions being generated. These hybrid cars are particularly more efficient for city traffic where there are frequent stops, coasting and idling periods. Initially it was perceived as unnecessary due to the low cost of gasoline. But the worldwide increase in the price of petroleum caused many automakers to release hybrids in the late 2000s. Lot of companies have already introduced the Best Compact Hybrid cars like the Toyota, Honda, Ford etc that offer variety of style, comfort, speed at an unbeatable price.
Some manufacturers are producing Hybrid Cars that indulge in the added energy provided by the hybrid systems to give vehicles a power boost, rather than improved fuel efficiency compared to their traditional counterparts. But there are some drawbacks which can keep the Hybrid Cars to rule over the road as of now. There is an impending increase in the cost of many rare materials such as the rare earth element dysprosium or neodymium etc used in the manufacture of hybrid cars. Moreover the reduced noise system may create unexpected hazards for the visually impaired pedestrians to cross the road.
The demand of hybrid cars depends on the price of gasoline, but some consumers are now turning to hybrid cars as a way to boost fuel economy, cut emissions and exhibit their respect for the environment. More automakers are manufacturing new hybrid cars to meet current and future demand. Technology though may vary and evolve, but the term “hybrid” ultimately refers to a vehicle that supplements a gas engine with an electric motor. Hybrid Car is though still in progress to get hold of the market, it has the potential to be enormous over time as more models are produced and incremental costs decline due to learning and scale benefits.
