@basebone1785 you say the vrod stock can beat most bikes? Here is a small riddle for you… Stock vrod 650lbs, 120HP equates to 5.43HP per pound…The average stock buell xb 395lbs, 103HP equates to 3.84HP per pound… Most people know more wieght slows down excelleration, well maybe except you.
stock busa’s are fast and big 14′s but remember anybody can buy fast its another thing to build fast yourself.thats why i do what i do
While they are heavy and a not crazy fast, they are far from sucking. The big reason they aren’t great stock is, aside from weight, is that the epa makes the factory dumb the bikes down to make them pass emissions. And I have waxed a sport bike on my sportster 883 that is just mildly modified. I am working on a 1200 big bore kit and cams, then we’ll be talking power. And if that isn’t enough, talk to the v-rod, which beats most stock bikes stock.
Thats because harley and everything related to it sucks….
